Past few days, i was also at yun nan, but at lijiang
The place we stayed at is at gu cheng itself. quite cool, but a very touristy place too.
I simply love the blue sky. Don't think I'll get to see such blue sky when i'm back in Singapore.
First day in Lijiang was free and easy. we went walking around the gu cheng. Happen to see this uncle in his dong ba costume. secretly took a photo of him!
And with my lao-pok tripod, we had a group shot again!
Wonder what's this? It's the Dong Ba language. damn cool! but i cant read.
At night, we watched the naxi ochestra. Experience their kind of music. cost 100RMB. But i felt it was ok to spend this kind of money. According to the 'boss' who gave the speech, not much ppl know how to play the music and the music is going to be extinct soon!
Second day, we traveled out of the youth hostel and head out to the Tiger Leaping Gorge.
Treking time START!
i must say the trek is challenging. vertically up and up, air getting thinner. and with the load of laptop on my back...kinda crazy. Comparing to the SAPA trek that i went with liping and gang last year, this is more challenging. ODAC-ers who are reading this blog post of mine, go have a try when u guys have time! I'm sure you'll love the view, the scenery.

And this is the view from my hostel room! damn cool
Trek for 7.5 hours on the first day. we started off at 7.30am, had three restpoints. surviving on 2 piece of bread and sneakers' bar for breakfast and lunch. We stayed at the hostel for the night. And we continued our treking journey at 7.40am the next day. It was a long treking day again. 7 hours we took. But that was with the resting time at the gorge!
