Yun nan, Kun Ming
First time on sleeper bus. it was a 12 hours bus ride from Shangrila to Kun Ming. As a light sleeper, i woke up like at random hours of 12am, 3am, 5am and 7am. Disturbed sleep that I had, feeling tired when i reached kunming.
After putting down our bagpacks, we went to Jiu Xiang. It is the world of cave. The temperature is super cooling in the cave. A lot of steps to walk, but not as much as the tiger leaping gorge.
There's a waterfall to see as well.
Second day of kun ming was to go the the xi shan (western hill). This is the view from part of the the dragon gate. From Xi Shan, we get to see the whole view of dianchi lake.
Anyway the ambience is not bad in the restaurant, but...it was polluted with ah thiongs smoking. seriously cant stand it. they smoke in an air-conditioned place...
Just being random, this is the cute cat in the hostel!
Today is the last morning in KunMing, soon, i'll be flying to guilin in the afternoon.
Somehow, I'm a bit tired of travelling. No energy. Maybe its the time of the year saying " I'm Old already"
Many thoughts went through my head this morning, guess life isnt that simple afterall. Dealing with things we don't want to, look-ing at things happening, and hearing things that are stunning.
On a side note, i received a call from SPMS office. That's kinda weird too.
Time for breakfast! 5 dollars off eating in the youth hostel itself!
