The norm:
1. Eat steamboat
2. Gather and chit-chat
3. Receive ang-pao
Every year, the famous dish in the house is shark-fin.
Not a fan of it, and thinking that eating the fin is cruel, I made up half the population who doesn't eat it every year.
The house that my family and relatives usually gather at is getting crowded as well. This year, there are 35 people in all, and this is not the full strength yet.
