Finally the photos can be uploaded!

And so here begins my vietnam 13 days ADVENTURE with ping, doug, joshua, zhiqiang and jieyang!

First day, of course we met up at budget terminal. And lingling was late meeting us!!!! so sad :( 1/2 a year no need to see her. but end up being bluff by the budget terminal! we still have to wait quite some time b4 we board the plane. But anyway, thanks to the rest who came down although we were just going on a holiday. hee =)

Socially responsible us brought our thermometer along! :)
And the funny thing about tiger airway's water: hot water selling at 20cent.
mineral water for 3 dollar. so we bought hot water and wait for it to cool down b4 we drink it.

At around 2035, we reached HANOI, our first stop for vietnam. And we checked in to elizabeth hotel.

We roamed around our hotel area the next day and ate PHO. Quite normal normal like our soup based noodle. But it tasted nice. And jieyang brought us to a stall that sell cups of fruits filled with condensed milk and coconut milk. damn shiok! there's jackfruit, dragonfruit,mango, etc etc. JUST UPS AND NICE FOOD for like about a dollar?

BUT LAO TIAN BU ZHUO MEI! it rained and we went to SAGO cafe to seek for a shelter. ordered coffee and spring roll. And that's when our journey of eating spring roll begun. Douglaus/Joshua will just order spring roll in every other meals to try it out :)

Followed by visiting the first university of Hanoi, now a temple. Met up with zq's vietnam friend ans she brought as to eat shells and satay. nice food!

We caught our train at night to LAO CAI station and reached SAPA at around 0430. It's already damn bright by 0530. i wonder what is the time for sunrise...

Anyway, tried BIA HANOI in the train, which is their beer. not bad. taste like tiger beer i thought. The most digusting place found in the train is the toilet. By the time i used it in morning, urine is everywhere. oh well, just have to bear with it. who ask me to drink beer. Anyway i just think our cabin is small, but cool. 6 ppl in a small cabin. haha! great experience. So dun complain about malaysia's bed in train, I'm sure that's so spacious and comfortable compared to the one we took!

Took the bus up to SAPA summit hotel. The seats in the van is super limited those kind. so yup, either you be a kiasu person and go up the van early, if not i think you'll suffer the whole journey with the butt dunno sit in between the seats, if not squeeze with ppl.

Being part of the package, we had our breakfast and nice bath at the hotel before meeting the guide. We trek about 3 hours with our bagpack b4 we reach the first house. I didn't go DATUK before, so this is my first time climbing up with a bag pack. it was hell, just up and up and up with the backpack. I'm glad i had more for breakfast.

Quite surprised by the fact that we actually have nice food up there at the house. First dish was FRENCH FRIES.wohooo. that's damn cool i thought. and followed by those home cooked dishes. yum yum.

And we start to hear RATS talking to one another. And they ate my bag in the middle of the night, also causing jieyang's ear to be bite by them. so sorry abt it! That explain the rather BIG hole caused in the front of my deuter x-hipp!!!!

The second day was continuation of the trip and stuffs. continue continue. I didn't complete the trek to the submit. Hmmmm, but no regrets though.

The next day after we were back at the hotel, we signed up for the Bac Ha Market. 10USD trip..... hmmmm......... depends on how you weigh it. For me, it's a great experience to pay the money to see them selling the chicks, chickens, pigs and dogs.
The animals are veryyy verrryyy poor thing. Under the hot sun. =(
And the dogs they sell are actually puppies. So i suggest you wouldn't want to eat , or rather try dog meat when you're overseas the next time?

And we visited the village. Hmmmm... not very interesting. But at least see see look look since we're on the 10USD package. haha!

And soooo, after the first 6 days, day 7 was when we were back at HANOI! welcome back to elizabeth hotel. Hmmm, have you guessed what we did?

After so many days of adventureeeeeee stuffs, time for shopping! i guess that's the happiest day for liping. hehe and of course joshua. cause they bought the dunno what what sandals. OMG. i have poor memory if you know me long enough. pardon me. so if you want to know what they bought, you can see if they're wearing in sch a not. hehe

And they seems to like passion fruit cheese cake. seen it in few cafe that sells cake. and so i bought one and try! is really not bad. wohoooo. Pampered ourselves with ice-cream with hot chocolate to dip in. eeeerrrr, but the hot chocolate so liquidy.....ok. shall not carry on with the description. But i just want to comment that i love the toilet. it's so clean. One of the cleanest besides what the hotel offers. At night we tried their KFC. OMG. is cannot cannot cannot NO NO NO eatttt!
We had mouldy bread, CHOW-SENG coleslaw,chiken so-so. BUT the egg tart is not bad.
So at least not that bad.

And off to dalat when jieyang waited for his flight back to singapore :(
the journey continued with the 5 of us exploring the other parts of vietnam.
DALAT was the next station. COOLING place. i love the place. with cool weather, say no to mosquito. My leg was runied in FOOT, and i needed some nice place without much mosquito or flies so that none will bite me.

We went to crazy house, bought some hand-made stuffs there. Hmmm. just find the place cool. Although it's just houses that are built in the girraffeeeee body. That's the concept there. rental of rooms is also available there. But i wonder who will rent the rooms there. ha!

Tried some bakery stuffs along the way finding our dinner. DAMN NICE. yum yum. ok. maybe that explain why we put on weight when we're back in singapore. simply because we ate too much there! haha. But we exercised a lot too. like walking? :P

And passing by this shop just make us laugh: " Internet chip chip"

We visited some other hotels. those many many stars de. 4stars? see the view there, then walked out as if we stay there. haha! We had french cuisine at dalat.

The next day, we travelled to Mui Ne.... But before that breakfast was awesome at DREAMS HOTEL. strawberry,watermelon,passionfruit, bread,egg,milk,tea....many many more. eat til BAO ZHA.

When we reached Mui Ne, we went in to POGO to have our lunch. Sea-side view. nice nice. relaxing. And we signed up a half day package tour to fairy stream, white sand dune, yellow sand dune.

A pity that ping had diarrhoea, so she went back to the resort after the fairy stream.

the fairy stream is a place full of sand. but HARD sands. so they look like rock actually. "MONEY SHOE MONEY SHOE" exclaimed the boy. yah, they took our shoe and said we need to give them some money and demanding more after we gave some. hMmmmm.
